KARACHI: The Sindh Home Department has issued a clear denial regarding circulating reports of a security threat alert for Karachi, emphasizing that no such notification has been issued by the authorities.
In an official statement, the Home Department explained that a fake notice titled “Immediate Security Alert: Increased Threat Level from 12 to 30 November 2025” is being widely circulated on social media in the name of the Additional Chief Secretary (Home).
The Sindh government urged citizens and media personnel to exercise caution and avoid spreading unverified information. It emphasized that all authentic security advisories are disseminated solely through official channels and verified sources.
Residents are advised to verify any such alerts with the official platforms before sharing or reacting to them.
