LAHORE: A student who secured the top position in the 10th grade has been appointed as Punjab’s Education Minister for a day.
On the occasion of World Children’s Day, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat handed over the charge of his office to a student for one day.
Abuzar, a resident of Nankana Sahib, achieved the top position in the 10th grade. When he arrived at the office in a full protocol with a government vehicle, he was warmly welcomed by officials.
During his day as Education Minister, Abuzar handled various official tasks and chaired meetings related to education. He also received briefings on educational matters and school facilities.The student minister issued instructions to officials during his tenure and discussed topics such as scholarship schemes, fee waivers for underprivileged children, and transportation facilities for teachers.
Abuzar also held a press conference, briefing the media. He stated that managing the department is not easy and is a very responsible task.
