Pakistan successfully tested an indigenous ship-launched ballistic missile

RAWALPINDI:  Pakistan Navy has conducted a successful test flight of an indigenously developed ship launched anti-ship ballistic missile.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday. The test demonstrated the missile’s advanced capabilities in precision targeting and maneuverability during flight evaluations.

The military’s media branch stated that the cutting-edge weapon system can accurately engage both maritime and terrestrial targets. It is equipped with sophisticated guidance systems and enhanced maneuvering features, enabling it to perform effectively in challenging operational conditions.The test was overseen by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of Naval Staff, along with senior scientists and engineers. 

ISPR emphasized that this achievement highlights Pakistan’s expanding technological expertise and the Navy’s strong dedication to defending national security interests.

Prominent officials, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, outgoing CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, and other service leaders, extended their congratulations to the units and scientists involved in reaching this significant milestone.
