ISLAMABAD: Islamabad hosted the 10th Pakistan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, which concluded today with the signing of several significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and protocols across multiple sectors.
The summit was jointly chaired by Pakistan’s Minister for Power, Sardar Awais Leghari, and Russia’s Sergey Tsivilev. During the meeting, both nations reaffirmed their dedication to fostering a comprehensive and future-oriented partnership aimed at promoting socio-economic progress in Pakistan and Russia, while also enhancing regional stability and connectivity.
The discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade, diversifying export portfolios, and strengthening business-to-business collaborations. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the constructive dialogue and committed to taking practical steps to deepen their cooperation in various fields.
