WEB DESK: Bloomberg, an international financial magazine, has published the list of the “World’s Richest Families 2025,” featuring the top 25 wealthiest families globally.
According to the list, the combined wealth of these families has increased by $358.7 billion over the past year, bringing their total assets to approximately $2.9 trillion.The report also highlights the presence of three influential and wealthy Arab families, including the Al Nahyan family of the United Arab Emirates, the Al Saud family of Saudi Arabia, and the Al Thani family of Qatar.
Bloomberg ranks the Al Nahyan family of Abu Dhabi as the second wealthiest family in the world, with an estimated net worth of $335.9 billion.
The Saudi royal family, the Al Saud, is positioned third, with a total wealth estimated at $213.6 billion.
Similarly, the ruling Al Thani family of Qatar is placed fourth on the list, with an estimated net worth of $199.5 billion.
The wealthiest family on the list is the Walton family of the United States, owners of the retail giant Walmart, with an estimated fortune of $513.4 billion.
