WEB DESK: Pakistan has secured their place in the upcoming stage of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup following an 8-wicket win against Zimbabwe.
The match took place in Harare, where Zimbabwe’s youth team set a target after batting first and was dismissed for only 128 runs. Notably, opener Labanagana contributed a steady 59 runs to the total.
Pakistan’s bowling attack was highly effective, with Ali Raza claiming 3 wickets, and Abdullah Subhan, Muhammad Siyaam, and Momin Qamar each claiming 2 wickets.
In their run chase, Pakistan successfully reached the target of 129 runs in the 27th over, losing only 2 wickets, thereby progressing to the next phase of the tournament.
