KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a drop on Wednesday, mirroring the downturn in the international market.
In the local sphere, the price for one tola of gold fell by Rs5,200, settling at Rs419,636. Likewise, gold priced per 10 grams decreased by Rs4,458, reaching Rs359,770, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The previous day saw the price for one tola of gold at Rs424,836, after a reduction of Rs4,100. Globally, the gold rate declined by $52, landing at $3,972 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Simultaneously, silver prices also witnessed a drop of Rs107, bringing the rate to Rs6,242 per tola.
