Aamir Khan, Gauri Spratt’s first wedding photo revealed: A Closer Look

WEB DESK: Bollywood icon Aamir Khan has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner Gauri Spratt, and fans are thrilled to see their first official wedding photo emerging online.

The actor, renowned for his role in *3 Idiots*, exchanged vows with Gauri in a private ceremony held at his Mumbai home on Sunday, July 5. The event was an intimate affair attended only by close family members and close friends.

As anticipation built among fans for a glimpse of the special day, the couple’s inaugural wedding picture surfaced on social media. The image shows Aamir seated at a wooden table, signing the marriage documents, with Gauri dressed in an elegant embroidered ivory outfit, smiling warmly beside him.

In the photo, Khan’s young stepson, dressed in a pink football jersey, stands between the newlyweds, observing as they complete the marriage formalities. Also present is Aamir’s son Azad, from his previous marriage to filmmaker Kiran Rao, who is seen sitting beside his father holding what appears to be a ring box.

The wedding was a heartfelt family gathering, with children from both sides actively participating in the celebrations. Numerous relatives and close friends gathered around, while elder family members watched from a comfortable sofa in the background.

The event was decorated tastefully with fresh flowers and candles, emphasizing simplicity and elegance over extravagance — a reflection of the couple’s preference for an understated celebration.

This marriage marks Aamir Khan’s third union. He was previously married to Reena Dutta from 1986 until 2002, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira. His subsequent marriage to filmmaker Kiran Rao began in 2005, but the couple announced their separation in 2021. Despite the split, they continue to co-parent their son Azad amicably.

Gauri, too, is a mother to a six-year-old son from a previous relationship, who was present during the wedding, adding to the family’s warmth on this special occasion.
