QUETTA: In the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, security forces have neutralized four more terrorists in the Saran Tangi area, bringing the total number of terrorists killed in the operation to 71.
According to military sources, the joint effort involving the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police remains active throughout the province.
Since the operation began on the 5th of this month, a total of 109 Khawarij militants have been neutralized through Operation Shaban and other intelligence-led actions.
Authorities also reported the recovery of a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the terrorists’ hideouts, which includes M4 rifles, submachine guns, rocket launchers, mobile phones, and various other equipment.
Security officials reaffirmed their commitment that Operation Shaban will persist until every last terrorist is eliminated from Balochistan.
