Punjab Parwaaz Card
Separately, the Punjab government has introduced the Parwaaz Card, an interest-free financing programme for people who have obtained employment overseas but need financial support to cover expenses before travelling.
The scheme can help eligible workers meet costs related to visa processing, medical tests, skills verification, airfare, Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP) charges and other approved employment expenses.
The programme is available to skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers, as well as professionals from different fields.
Beneficiaries will repay the amount through manageable instalments without interest or additional financing charges.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants for the Parwaaz Card must:
Be 18 years or older
Hold a valid Pakistani CNIC
Be a resident of Punjab
Have a verified overseas employment offer
Online Application
The Punjab government has digitised the application system, allowing applicants to submit forms, track their applications and complete the processing procedure online.
Applications containing complete documentation are expected to be processed within seven to 10 working days, subject to verification and fulfilment of eligibility conditions.
Those who have not yet found overseas employment can also search for verified job opportunities through registered Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs). Once a confirmed job offer is secured, eligible applicants can apply for the interest-free financial assistance.
Applicants with confirmed overseas employment offers can submit their applications through the PSDF online portal, while OEPs can register through the designated PSDF platform.
