KHUSHAB: Two people were killed and five others sustained injuries in a road accident in Khushab district on Sunday, according to rescue officials.
The accident occurred on Muzaffargarh Road when two Chengchi rickshaws collided. Two passengers died at the scene, while five others were injured and taken to District Headquarters Hospital, Jauharabad, for medical treatment.
In a separate incident in Kalat, Balochistan, six people were injured after a passenger bus overturned on the highway.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment. Further details about the circumstances of the Kalat accident were not immediately available.
