LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif officially opened the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore today.
During the opening ceremony, she revealed that starting tomorrow, the institute will offer heart transplant services to patients.
She emphasized that all treatment services for cardiac patients at the facility will be provided free of charge and will feature the latest medical technology.
The CM also announced the creation of a special fund dedicated to supporting heart transplants.
Additionally, she highlighted that over 14,500 children have benefitted from free cardiac surgeries and procedures through the Children Heart Surgery Program.
