LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with Iftikhar Gillani, the newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), on Monday, congratulating him on his recent electoral victory.
During the interaction, Iftikhar Gillani expressed his gratitude to Maryam Nawaz and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership for their support throughout his campaign. He also reaffirmed his dedication to executing a comprehensive 100-day reform plan aimed at advancing the development agenda of Azad Kashmir.
The AJK Prime Minister also lauded the development initiatives undertaken by Maryam Nawaz in Punjab, describing them as historic and a potential blueprint for progress in Azad Kashmir. Gillani emphasized his desire to replicate Punjab’s model of growth and development in Azad Kashmir, under the leadership and guidance of PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
