NEW YORK: US President Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as a “wonderful person” while addressing the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is representing Pakistan at the UNGA session in New York. The 81st session formally opened on September 8, with the high-level general debate now underway.
During his address, Trump again referred to his claimed role in helping bring an end to the 2025 conflict between Pakistan and India.
The US president also spoke positively of PM Shehbaz, describing him as a “wonderful person” in his remarks.
