Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday called on Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, Chief of opposition’s 11-party alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
The two leaders discussed senate elections, long march and number games of the alliance joint candidate Yousuf Raza Gillani. Sources said that Raja Pervez Ashraf apprised Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman about senate elections.
Raja Pervez Ashraf also consulted with the PDM chief regarding the position of PPP candidate from the national capital Yousuf Raza Gillani.
Both the leaders agreed to struggle for success of the joint candidate of the PDM while the PPP leader also consulted Mualana Fazal Ur Rehman on the long march.
