KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday expressed reservations on decisions of National Economic Council (NEC) and demanded more funds for health and education in upcoming budget.
PPP Chairman, in his statement, said that allocating only Rs30 billion for health in the upcoming budget is synonymous with leaving public at the mercy of coronavirus. Imran Khan has endangered future of the masses by only allocating 3.3 percent and 5.5 percent for health and education respectively.
Bilawal further said that Imran Khan will not be able to hide his incompetence by inaugurating incomplete projects. Government has increased sense of deprivation by politicizing the developmental budget, he added.
We will never accept the selected budget of a selected prime minister, he added.
