LONDON: There have been further revelations about Pegasus, the software used to spy by Israel.
According to the report of Amnesty International, the names of the heads of 14 countries of the world have been selected for espionage. The list also includes the numbers of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Lebanon’s Saad al-Hariri.
Imran Khan’s number was selected by India as a person of interest. Other people on the list include the presidents of France, South Africa and Morocco. Amnesty International gained access to data records containing more than 50,000 phone numbers. According to the report, more than 600 government officials and politicians from 34 countries were spied on by Israeli software.
