Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the provincial government is serious in holding of local bodies election in the province adding that a new local government act will prove to be a harbinger of development in Punjab.
Local body minister Punjab Mian Mahmood Ur Rasheed called on the CM Punjab.
The CM, on the occasion, said that the new local government act has been prepared in day and night hard work. He said that knowledge of problems will be known immediately through village council, neighborhood council.
The CM said that real change will appear in the politics of local bodies through direct elections
