ISLAMABAD: Kashmir Day being observed today to highlight the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. Different programs are chalked out to show solidarity with the Kashmiris.
Seminars will be held on official levels and rallies will also be taken out across the country to express unity for the Kashmiris.
As per the spokesperson of Interior Ministry, educational institutions as well as private and government offices will remain closed.
India is keeping a major part of the internationally-acknowledged disputed Himalayan Jammu Kashmir state in her illegal and forced occupation at the might of her occupational military power since October 27, 1947 against the aspirations of the people of the State.
The motive behind observing this day is to divert world’s attention towards grave human rights violations and brutalities against innocent Kashmiris by the Indian security forces.
