Lahore: The politics of manipulation for the portfolio of Chief Minister has reached its peak in Punjab.
Chaudhry Monis Elahi, who is Federal Minister in the government, has mobilized for the success of his father Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
On the other hand Jehangir Tareen group and Aleem Khan group have called its meetings for the next strategy.
After the Prime Minister nominated Chaudhry Pervez Elahi as the Chief Ministerial candidate, the political turmoil intensified.
Sources said that Jehangir Tareen group is likely to support Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, however, the final decision will be taken in the meeting of the Tareen group.
On the other hand, some members of Abdul Aleem Khan group opposed nomination of Pervez Elahi as a Chief Minister Punjab. After which PML-N and PML-Q have contacted to Aleem Khan group.
Sources said that Chaudry Pervez Elahi group has contacted to spokesman of Aleem Khan group, Mian Khalid Mahmood.
Mia Khalid Mahmood said that he will respond after consultation with all the friends.
