Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday provided evidences of torture on its important leader Dr. Shahbaz Gill.
For providing evidences the vice-president of the party Fawad Chaudhry, Dr, Shireen Mazari and president of Islamabad Ali Nawaz Awan and others leaders at the the police line headquarter.
The PTI leaders handed over the evidences to the Islamabad police.
The Islamabad police had published an advertisement to provide any evidence or record statement regarding torture on Dr Shahbaz Gill until August 20.
The PTI leader Ali Awan talking to media said that we had pictorial evidences which also have been provided to the Islamabad police.
Acting Chief Justice Amir Farooq gave a task to Islamabad police to carry out inquiry regarding Dr Shahbaz Gill. When the acting CJ asked Shahhaz Gill regarding torture on him then he showed his wounds while lifting his shirt
Ali Awan apprised that we have recorded our statement to the police while the PTI leader said that we have expectation that when these evidences will be presented to IHC then justice will be done
