Karachi: After passing almost two years as a administrator Karachi, Murtaza Wahab said that no any superman can work during rains.
Holding a presser at Frere Hall Karachi, administrator Karachi said that the rains have come to an end and we are going towards reconstruction, now roads will be built, we will correct sewerage system as well.
Murtaza Wahab said that opponents only criticise while problems are resolved through work instead of criticism.
The administrator said that we were present at the roads during the rains while he said that as many as Rs 18 billion has been allocated for 157 development schemes for Karachi.
He said that an amount of Rs one billion for providing relief to affectees and patch work for broken roads has been received to municipality.
He claimed that all the local bodies institutions worked together during the rains adding that such areas which were left paralyzed in the past, this time administration cleared these areas immediately.
The administrator said that rain nullahs performed well in the rains while difficulties and miseries errupted due to conditions of the roads.
He said that the rains are still continued in the interior Sindh adding that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has given duties to ministers and advisors.
He further apprised that Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has been directed to provide affectees ration and tents.
