Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has decided to start interviews for awarding party tickets to candidates interested in contesting provincial assembly elections in Punjab.
Candidates for Punjab provincial assembly from PP-1 to PP-50 have been called today on the first day of the interviews.
Imran Khan will directly conduct interviews of candidates for Punjab assembly constituencies. The PTI chief himself review the capability of the candidate and will take feedback from the party and workers.
The party has already apprised the leadership regarding short listed candidates from all the constituencies.
The areas included in PP-1 to PP-50 are Rawalpindi, Attock, Bhukher, Chakwal, Jehlum, Khushab and candidates of other district will give interviews.
After conclusion of interviews from all the districts then final announcement of Party tickets will be made.
