KARACHI: Countries around the globe including Pakistan are observing April 25 as World Malaria Day to increase awareness about this dangerous disease.
The World Health Day is a global Malaria awareness day celebrated annually on 25 April, under the main sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Malaria virus spreads in the human body in phases because of the biting of a specific type of female mosquito.
According to health care specialists Malaria causes symptoms that typically include fever, tiredness, vomiting, and headaches. It can also lead to death in case of further complications.
However, one can avoid suffering from this dangerous disease by taking precautionary measures.
