Hyderabad: District administration has issued an alert owing to tropical storm biparjoy while it is likely that rains will lash along with stormy winds in the city and its adjoining areas.
The district administration has issued instructions based of precautionary measures to Municipal Corporation, Cantonment board, Municipal communities.
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) have been directed to keep generators on stand by to avoid collapse of drainage system.
The Municipal Corporation has also been directed to remove all bill boards and sign boards.
Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Fawad Ghafar Soomro has also directed all the bill boards installed on private and government properties be removed immediately.
In any case of harm and loss the responsibility will be fixed on respective institutions, the DC added.
He said that following the alert of meteorological department all the protective measures be ensured.
