Karachi: The voting process of Karachi mayor and deputy mayor elections are continued as Murtaza Wahab secured 173 votes, sources said.
Counting of votes for Jamat-e-Islami (JI) candidate Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman is underway.
Earlier, polling has started for election of mayor and deputy mayor election of Karachi as polling station, Karachi Arts Council, gates closed at 11 am.
In city council of 366 members , 173 of PPP and it’s allied parties members present in the council.
While the JI ‘s 160 members are in attendance.
on the other hand 33 members of PTI not arrived in polling center established at Karachi Arts council.
