Paris: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has met with the US president special representative and former secretary of state John Kerry in Paris.
They called on the sidelines of the New Global Financing Pact Summit being held at Paris in France.
Both the leaders exchanged best wishes to each other.
The PM lauded John Kerry and the US government preferences on the matter of environment. The two leaders agreed to keep in contact on mutual efforts for the climate change.
The premier also apprised about the effects of the climate change on the developing countries. He said that the environment issues are joint matter of the world which needs joint strategy and mutual efforts.
The enviromental issues are effecting the development and growth rate of developing countries, he added.
He apprised the US president special assistant that 2022 floods added further miseries in economic difficulties.

A reform is needed in the structure of international finance for provision of resources to the developing countries.
John Kerry agreed with the premier that the matter of climate change has added more risks for the developing countries.
