Islamabad: Justice Yahya Afridi, the part of bench hearing a sets of petitions against trials of civilians in the military courts, has urged in today’s hearing formation of full bench for the case.
Justice Yahya Afridi in his note has written that members of the bench including the most senior judge after Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandiyal, their written objecthe most senior judge and members of bench.
He said that existing bench needed to be immediate attention and the CJ’s review adding that the base of system justice is the trust of the people on the court.
The Judge said that the CJ should form full court bench.
Justice Yahya Afridi has written in note of written order that the objections raised by existing bench of judges are of highly serious in nature which can’t be neglected.
