QUETTA: Four law enforcers were martyred Sunday when unidentified gunmen attacked a checkpost in Balochistan’s Sherani District.
Police officials confirmed that the assailants opened fire on the checkpost, leading to the martyrdom of four personnel.
They further added that one attacker was killed in the retaliatory firing and that a search operation had started in the area following the incident.
At least one police officer was injured in an attack on Smart Police Station Civil Lines Quetta yesterday after an attacker threw a grenade into the station and escaped from the scene.
Yesterday’s attack left at least one policeman injured.
