Karachi: Provincial Minister for Information and Transport Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon on Friday said that Sindh government is going to start Dhabeji Industrial Zone from tomorrow.
Holding a presser in the local hotel in Karachi, the Minister said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman will inaugurate the project tomorrow.
Sharjeel Memon said that the this is a golden opportunity for foreign investors to invest in Pakistan adding that the industry will be tax free for a period of ten years.
He said that the project will be a role model for the whole country. The whopping amount of five billion rupees will be generated on the project.

The Dhabeji Industrial Zone will be established on 1530 acres of land wherein opportunities of employment as wells as investements are exist on a wide extent.
He apprised that this project is included in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) adding that companies from Turkey and China have interest to invest in this project.
He said that the companies will be provided tax waiver for 10 years adding that the this project will be a milestone for whole of the country.

Special assistant to Chief Minister Qasim Naveed Qamar in his briefing apprised that it is expected that five billions dollars will be invested in the project.
The special assistant further apprised that work is on for provision of grid station, water and gas for the project.
