Bushra Bibi ex-husband handed over to anti corruption on one day transition remand over occupying govt land

Lahore: A judicial magistrate of district court of Lahore on Monday approved one day transition remand of Khawar Manika, ex-husband of Bushra Bibi.

Anti Corruption Department produced Khawar Maneka before the Judicial magistrate and adopted a view that Khawar Maneka has an allegation of illegal construction on the government land.

In this connection on the Deputy Commissioner reference an inquiry is being conducted.

According to which Khawar Maneka constructed as many as 26 shops and marriage hall on the land of graveyard.

He made a map on four canal land of the graveyard. While he also has been illegally occupied Haveli Lakha graveyard land for long period of time.

The anti corruption insisted the court to give one day transition remand so that he could be presented before a respective court.

The court giving one day transition remand ordered to present him the respective court on September 26 tomorrow on Tuesday.

Khawar Manika was running away from the country this morning when Federal Investigation Agency stopped him travel to Dubai after putting his name into Exit Control List (ECL).
