Islamabad: An apple of eyes of founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ex-chief minister Usman Buzdar turned millionaire to billionaire in a short span of five years.
The assets of Usman Buzdar revealed that he has overall assets worth of Rs 0.8 million five years ago while in the last three years his assets increased by 4500 Kanal land, 3900 Kanal land, 15 plots, vehicles worth of millions and bank balance also increased in two years.
In the 2018 his assets worth was Rs 7,62,000.
This documents, he submitted while filing his nomination papers to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) back in 2018.
On the contrary this year 2024 he has submitted his assets worth of Rs 550 million whereas his assets, particularly thousand Kanals of lands have worth of Rs 4 billion.
Usman Buzdar has apprised his all assets, properties, gold, vehicles, dairy animals total prize of Rs 30. 5 millions.
A revelation emerged in his nomination papers that Usman Buzdar bought 2224 Kanals of land with a prize of 6.2 million in last year . Former chief minister has gotten the land of 1698 Kanals land by Rs 13,000 per cannal.
He has shown his hundreds Kanals of land in Moza Gizli Lakhri DG Khan, 203 Kanals of land Sulari Koh-e-Suleman Khanewal, one Kanal land in Eastern DG Khan.
Besides that 15 plots in DG Khan and 35 lands were bought in different areas of Tonsa Sharif.
As per the documents, Usman Buzdar had overall assets included 95 Kanal of land in Moza Amdani, a plot of 36 marla, 8 marla green view house in Multan and a plot in 2018.
A 4 Kanal plot at Sakhi Sarwar road and 14 Kanal of land in Tonsa.
On the other hand, his wife had property of 18 marla plot in DG Khan, two kanal land in Fort Minro, 19 marla plot in Tonsa and one kanal two plots while she also owner of 20 marla polot in Canal city.
In the financial year 2019 Usman Buzdar has a total property worth of Rs 20.5 million while in the same financial year his property increased by a 163 Kanal of Land, this land made party of his assets in Moza Chotti.
The document revealed that his total property worth in 2020 was Rs 30.5 million and in the same financial year his property increased by 199 Kanal of land and a financial increase of 10 million witnessed. The documents provided information that these lands he received in Moza Barthi and Moza Manwani.
He has apprised his assets total worth Rs 50. 5 million in 2021.
Usman Buzdar younger brother Jafar Khan apprised that his elder brother the most of the assets got from his parents and he got it from legal ways.
Jafar Khan apprised further that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is checking his whole family assets but his brother got assets after death of his father.
His more assets will emerge because a distribution of family properties is underway.
