Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz has decided to contest elections in an independent capacity after his party denied tickets to him.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PML-N has issued party tickets on National Assembly seats and provincial assemblies seats all across the country.
Hailing from Norowal, Daniyal Aziz has been denied a party ticket as he didn’t submit his application for awarding of party ticket to him.
He said that due to his illness he could not submit application for having party ticket for contesting the elections.
The architect of local body system in Pervez Musharraf era, Daniyal Aziz said that the party ticket has been awarded to such an unknown person who don’t have any relation to the party.
He said that this is power politics that happened in the PML-N.
He said that inflation has a major problem for people of the country adding that he will contest election and have to show eradication of inflation.
The mouth peice of the party along with Talal Chaudhry from 2013 to 2017, has apprised that he will contest election from NA-75 as an independent candidate.
When he was asked would you be contesting elections against your own party along with other parties , he responded that yes he will contest elections against the PML-N.
He said ” you are treated like this on talk of inflation then ok I will use to of talk against inflation and if they have to bestow who are responsible for inflation then I will do this.”
He further apprised that he didn’t talk to anyone in the party leadership over denying of the party ticket to him.
He confidently said that he will must contest elections adding that an eradication of inflation is his mission and his wife also will contest elections as an independent candidate.
