Syed Mustafa Kamal visits Water Board headquarter to apprise water sewerage issues of Karachi

Karachi: Member of ad-hoc committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and MNA from NA-242 Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that there is no arrangements on place for providing 260 gallon of water of K-4.

Syed Mustafa Kamal called on Managing Director (MD) Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) Syed Salahuddin today at its headquarter.

Talking to media after meeting with the MD WSC, Syed Mustafa Kamal apprised that only 30 percent work on K-4 has been completed yet.

The MQM-P leader apprised that they apprised the MD WSC water and sewerage issues our areas and Karachi and team of Water Board has given us a good response while talking about his meeting with MD WSC.

He questioned that how a labour class residing in his constituency NA-242 can afford tanker of Rs 7000.

The political stalwart said that we believed that the people of Karachi have given licence to talk about their rights while going to various offices of the governments.

He said that the K-4 project has been delayed owing to not coming funds from the federal government adding that today the cost of the project is sarmounted to Rs 300 billion.

He said that the world is going to the moon and we are discussing water and sewerage lines issues of Karachi.

Ex-mayor said that we wanted to inform SWC, the Sindh government and the federation that we wanted to faciliate them.

Syed Mustafa Kamal said that our all MPAs, MNAs will solve the water crisis in joining with the government.

He said that we will talk to people in next three to four days.
