Karachi: Sindh’s Provincial Minister for local bodies Saeed Ghani on Sunday morning visited on going mega project in Lyari while he instructed that speed up work on the project and also improve surrounding roads.
Regarding the mega project of Layari, Saeed Ghani apprised that this building will be constructed on a whoppoing amout of Rs 482 million therein basement, ground floor including five storey will be constructed.
He furthered that the building will have parking, NADRA office , civic center and library, women handicraft and learning area, art learning area and music classes and other more things will be available.
Later the Minister also reviewed work on Lyari Chakewara Road, Mehrab Esa Road, Tenrary Road.
Project Director Lyari mega project Tariq Mughal apprised that besides these roads more than eight adjacent linking roads will also be constructed.
Before construction of these three main road and eight interlink roads sewerage, utility, overflow channel will be constructed while footpaths will also be made on these roads while street lights will also be installed on these roads.
The Minister directed that there should be no compromise on the quality in the construction of these roads.
He said that we wanted before construction of new infrastructure in the city under ground utilities, sewerage and overflowing channels be constructed that for years to come people could be benefitted.
Moreover, Saeed Ghani also visited under construction the international ground in Lyari and reviewed the on going work in the stadium.
