KARACHI: The Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that the Sindh High Court should reveal verdict on the pending case related to municipal tax soon .
Karachi mayor has said that Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has not been able to collect tax of 11 billion rupees due to the injunction order.
While talking to the media in Karachi, he said that every citizen of Karachi should pay taxes. KMC has not been able to collect taxes of 11 billion rupees due to the pending case in the court. Sports fields can be constructed.
He said that KMC will pay 7% of the tax collected to the electorate as a fee, they can increase the budget of KMC by getting this tax. They have an agreement with K Electric, they will be able to collect this tax only if the court allows it.
