Islamabad: Slashing of petroleum products prices for next fortnightly starting from June 1 are likely.
According to the sources of the petroleum division the petrol price can be reduced by Rs five per litre. On the other hand, a decrease of Rs four is expected in the diesel prices for the next-15 day.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will send it summary to the finance ministry on May 31.
After which the federal ministry will take the decision in consultation with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
