ISLAMABAD: The capital city administration has granted permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) to hold rally in Islamabad upon the order of Islamabad high court with 39 conditions.
The administration informed about the permission to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) during the hearing a contempt case filed by the PTI after it was not allowed for the rally.
The administration informed that the Deputy Commissioner’s office has granted permission to PTI for a rally on Rawat GT Road.
At which the court remarked that the PTI can challenge the district administration’s actions by filing a fresh plea if they wish.
PTI lawyer Shoaib Shaheen stated that they will challenge the administration’s decision for permission to hold rally in Rawat.
The court later disposed of the PTI’s petition.
