Islamabad: The senate standing committee on finance opposed uptick on electric and hybrid vehicles.
The member of the committee, Senator Faisal Vawda said “I know who is imposing taxes on the vehicles.”
He said that he not be compelled otherwise he will inform the people. He said that owing to the such policies no body establish industry in the country.
The the finance committee delayed the matter of increasing the taxes on the hybrid vehicles.
