Karachi temperature records 39 degree centigrade, feels as 44

Karachi: The mercury will reach 39 degree centigrade, the meteorological department predicted.

The scorching heat is being felt more than five degree centigrade means 44 degree centigrade.

The met department also predicted more sizzling heat in next three days in Karachi.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has said that there is no chances of rains in the month of June whereas pre monsoon will start in the first week of July.

He said that in the next few days Karachi weather will remain scorching hot and dry.

It is likely that heatwave situation can be surfaced in three days, the met department predicted. While there is no chance of rains in the next few days.

On the other hand, monsoon rains will commence from July 1 as the Pakistan Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) predicted rains more than 35 percent in the province.

The PDMA warned that 25 mm rains epected in first week of July whereas 70 mm rains likely in the fourth week of July in Punjab.

The PDMA has also issued alert regarding the rains.
