Islamabad: Founding Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted his written reply in the government intra-court appeal against declaring the annulling of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendments.
The PTI founding chief insisted the Supreme Court to dispose off an Intra Court appeal.
Imran Khan raising objection on Chief Justice (CJ) SC Qazi Faez Isa, keeping in the mind past decision of CJ Isa he should avoid hearing his cases for fulfilling the process of justice.
Former premier penned that Justice Athar Minallah during the hearing had said that the amendments would be benefited to you as well.
The ex-premier said that his opinon is clear that the matter is not related to him but for the country adding that the parliament should enact legislation within the limits of the constitution.
Imran Khan said that if the NAB uses his powers wrongly then amendments be made for the limits to stopping it for exercising the wrong powers.
He apprised his Toshakhna case is the example of the NAB use of wrong powers adding that the accountability body for making the case against him increased the original price of necklace Rs 18 million to Rs 3.18 billion.
He said that the amendments in the law for saving a person not happens even in banana republics.He further said that the corruption is destructive four country’s economy and it bears negative effects.
He said that the corrupt people made laws and the parliament as their shield in the past.
He urged the SC , it should not close its eyes in front of facts.
