Addressing individual taxpayers and corporate employees on his official Facebook page he penned that the government of Bangladesh has introduced new digital tax filing measures aimed at simplifying the tax process for individuals and businesses, this initiative is expected to enhance efficiency, improve transparency, and encourage greater tax compliance.
The digital system will enable taxpayers to file returns online, reducing paperwork and cutting down on the time required for manual processes. Officials hope the move will foster a more robust tax culture and contribute to the country’s economic growth by increasing revenue collection.
