KARACHI: Tensions between Pakistan and India intensified on Wednesday as an explosion was reported in the Malir area of Karachi, following similar incidents in Lahore and Daharki. SSP Malir has confirmed the blast.
According to initial reports, residents of Sharafi Goth in Malir heard a loud explosion. Social media users claimed the presence of a suspicious engine-like device at the site of the blast.
Police sources say an explosion was heard in the area; however, further investigations are ongoing, and details are expected to emerge soon.
The situation remains tense as authorities continue to investigate.
