ISLAMABAD: FBR Officers Association’s response to the allegations of murder by 3 FBR officers was revealed at a meeting of the Standing Committee by Senator Faisal Vawda.
FBR Inland Revenue Service Officers Association responded to Senator Faisal Vawda’s allegations, saying that Faisal strongly denies the allegations, Inland Revenue Service Officers did not give any threats to Faisal Vawda.
The Inland Revenue Officers Association said, purchase of government vehicles was in accordance with the rules, the attempt to discredit the officers is unacceptable.
The statement said, Faisal Vawda should show evidence of his allegations, baseless statements are diminishing the morale of the officers, the tax collection process can be damaged, the officers are committed to honesty and professional principles, the honor of the officers. Will defend dignity at all times.
It is to be remembered that the Senate Standing Committee on Finance meeting was chaired by Chairman Saleem Mandviwala yesterday, which was discussed by the FBR for the purchase of vehicles.
