Karachi: Sindh High Court issued a written decision declaring the Sindh Building Control Authority’s decision to seal former President Arif Alvi’s clinic null and void.
Sindh High Court cleared in it’s judgment, SBCA did not give notice to the petitioner before sealing the clinic and did not give the petitioner an opportunity to clean up, which is a violation of fundamental rights.
Sindh High Court judgment ordered that the SBCA should immediately de-seal the dental clinic of Arif Alvi, the petitioner should approach the SBCA within 10 days to change the status of the plot, and SBCA should also decide on the application within 45 days.
It should be noted that the Sindh Building Control Authority had sealed Arif Alvi’s dental clinic in October and the Sindh High Court had ordered the de-sealing of Arif Alvi’s clinic in the past few days, the written decision of which has been issued today.
