QUETTA: Seven passengers from eastern Punjab province were forcibly taken from a bus traveling from Quetta to Faisalabad and brutally murdered by armed men late Tuesday night, according to a senior government official in Balochistan.
Attack against the passengers happened on a highway running through the Koh-e-Sulaiman Mountain Range near Rarkan in Barkhan district.
Assistant Commissioner Barkhan Khadim Hussain has stated that, seven passengers were thrown off the bus and then shot dead.
Bus was traveling from Quetta to Faisalabad. Levies and FC have cordoned off the area. The bodies are being transferred to the Civil Hospital Quetta, told Assistant Commissioner
Local law enforcement agencies, including the Levies force, arrived at the scene to investigate the matter, they took charge of the victims’ bodies.
According to the levies force, the bodies have been shifted to a nearby Rakhni hospital. According to Geo News, the deceased belonged to different cities in the Pakistani province of Punjab.
The bus, carrying 45 passengers, was on its way from Quetta to Faisalabad.
