Journey of 2 American Helicopters from Karachi to Indian City Ahmedabad

WEB DESK: Both nations have closed their airspace, and amidst this, on Sunday afternoon, two American helicopters traveled from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport to the Indian city of Ahmedabad.

According to aviation sources, the two helicopters bearing American registration arrived from Sharjah on Sunday around 1:00 PM, flying at low altitude over the Arabian Sea. These two Leonardo AW139 helicopters, operated by West Star Aviation and privately owned, remained at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport for approximately two hours.

Later, around 3:00 PM, the helicopters departed from Karachi towards Badin, traveling at an altitude of 9,000 feet. They entered India near the Sindh city of Chuhar Jamali.

According to ATC sources, once they entered Indian airspace, the helicopters ascended to 11,000 feet and landed at Ahmedabad Airport in the Indian city of Ahmedabad.

Until late night, the helicopters remained in Ahmedabad. It remains unknown who the passengers were aboard these helicopters and for what purpose they traveled from Karachi to India.

Attempts were made to get information from the spokesperson of the Pakistan Airport Authority, but no response was received until late at night.
