CHAMAN: In a strong stance against unprovoked attacks by the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij, Pakistan Army has conducted targeted and precise strikes along the Pak-Afghan border as part of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq.
Sources within security agencies confirm that Pakistani forces successfully neutralized multiple Taliban positions and destroyed vehicles in the Chaman sector, compelling the militants and extremists to withdraw. The operation underscores the army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The military leadership has reiterated that Operation Ghazab lil-Haq will persist until all objectives are fulfilled, ensuring the security of the homeland.
In a related development, Pakistani security personnel eliminated 22 militants affiliated with Fitna-al-Khawarij during an intelligence-led operation in Khyber district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operation was launched following credible intelligence about militant presence in the area.
During the firefight, militants engaged security forces with heavy fire, leading to a prolonged exchange that resulted in the deaths of 22 suspects. The ISPR reported that the militants responded with indiscriminate gunfire, tragically causing the death of a 10-year-old child during the clash.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased militants, who are believed to have been involved in multiple attacks across the region. The operation reflects Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to dismantle extremist networks and maintain peace in vulnerable areas.
