Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir has said, relations between Pakistan and China are based on mutual trust and cooperation.
According to ISPR, Vice Chairman General of Central Military Commission Zhang Yuxia has visited to General Head Quarter (GHQ).General Zhang first had a one-on-one meeting with Army Chief General Asim Munir after which delegation-level talks took place.
According to ISPR, issues of mutual interest, regional security, increasing bilateral defence cooperation were discussed in the meetings, while General Asim Munir emphasised on further promoting mutual trust and cooperation, the Army Chief mentioned Pak-China friendship.
On this occasion COAS Asim Munir talking about the bilateral relations of PAK-CHINA, he said PAK-CHINA bilateral relation is ready set for historic partnership.
General Asim Munir said, bilateral relation of PAK-CHINA is depends on trust and cooperation. The relations between the two countries have met with trust in difficult times, ideal relations are getting stronger with time.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman Zhang praised Pakistan for its steadfastness in strategic partnership and the Chinese Central Military Commission also appreciated the professionalism of Pakistan Army in counter-terrorism efforts.
According to ISPR, On arrival at GHQ, General Zhang Yuxia laid floral wreaths on the martyrs’ memorial and the Chinese Central Military Commission paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan.
