LAHORE: Following India’s cowardly attack, Pakistan’s airspace was closed and all flights were cancelled.
According to aviation sources, the airspace has been closed for 48 hours and a formal NOTAM has been issued.
Aviation sources further stated that, flight operations from Islamabad International Airport has been suspended until further notice, and flight operations at Lahore Airport has also been suspended.
More than 25 flights, including those to Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Riyadh, have been cancelled. A PIA spokesperson said that PIA has cancelled flights for 12 hours and passengers should contact PIA’s call centers.
